Just had my appt. with Amy. Her and Mika did such a great job cutting and styling my LONG, thick hair! One of the best salon experiences I have ever had. Not only was the cut great but the professionalism and atmosphere throughout the salon were top notch. I not only recommend, I HIGHLY recommend you give this place a try. After trying 2 other salons I finally, and thankfully, found Revel. (The third time is a charm.) The staff is knowledgable and well trained. They took the time to listen to my concerns about my hair and made suggestions and changes that worked! They offer superior services and products at reasonable rates. I am so happy to have found Revel and look forward to having them care for mine and my daughter’s hair.

I dropped in yesterday to Revel to get a quick eyebrow wax and I was happy surprised by how fantastic of an experience it was. Usually when I get my brows done, it’s a quick and dirty waxing at a random place like «Star Nails» but this was fantastic. For just $ 11 plus tip (only $ 1 more than most places charge) I got my best brow wax ever. She followed my instructions to «clean them up but not make them thin» perfectly. They use a cream-​based wax instead of a honey-​based one so it doesn’t pull off unnecessary skin and barely hurts at all. They also did a great job trimming them shorter, which is an art that few have mastered.
To top it all off, they had fresh cookies all around and offered both my boyfriend and myself water or coffee even though they knew they weren’t going to make big bucks off of us. (He just sat in the nice waiting area.)
This place is tucked away in an awkward corner surrounded by medical and real estate offices, but it is worth the search. I’ll definitely be back again and again.

I work a very odd schedule and was desperate to find somewhere to fit me in when I had a cancellation from one of my evening clients. After calling around close to twenty places, I finally found Revel. I called and they were very polite and professional on the phone and even though I wouldn’t be able to get there until 6, which is their closing time, they had no problem having me come in.
Courtney was absolutely awesome. She listened to what I wanted, but had great expertise when I told her that I trusted her professional judgement. She was a good conversationalist too, but didn’t talk too much, which I always find awkward. She made me feel really comfortable and helped me relax after a long week. I absolutely love my new haircut and will most definitely be going back! Plus, the price was awesome. Less than 60 bucks (including a generous tip) for the haircut and an eyebrow wax.

I have been going to this salon since I moved to Lake Wylie in 2009. I previously lived uptown and used a Redken certified stylist in the Elizabeth area which were «Chicago» prices. My hair was «dry» and «brassy». Once I moved, I sought out another Redken certified stylist and found Amy who was then at another location. She opened her own Salon (Revel) this past year — I have gone to her since 2009 and just want to say that she is a first class stylist and also savvy business owner who provides high quality at a reasonable cost. Her salon provides a very upscale environment with all the comforts of home. Staff and stylists are professional yet personal and «Know hair». They are a collaborative team so you are not just getting one stylist, you get the expertise of everyone. They also carry the latest products and will go the extra mile to have what you need. My hair is in its best shape/​color ever, and I trust their opinion and would go to any of them. I usually book 2 appointments in advance since I travel in my job — and they are more than accommodating when I call ahead as soon as I know about changes in advance. I won’t try any other salons so cannot compare other than I have gone to stylists since 1988 and Revel is the best.
